The subconscious mind plays a pivotal role in tarot card readings.  Through conditioning most people have been taught to only believe what they can see, hear, smell, taste or feel which is so unfortunate because our subconscious mind holds so many answers for problem solving.

When a tarot reading is done, you “activate” your subconscious mind by letting it know that you want guidance and are open to receiving it.  The intent is then set. When you shuffle the cards, concentrating and focusing on your questions, you infuse the cards with your energy and the energy of the question. Although you may not be able to hear your inner voice or the messages coming through, your subconscious mind has found an outlet which is through the hand and into the cards guiding you to select certain cards.
